Moderator: Possible to Fix Factual Error in Submission?
Hello,
I was wondering if a moderator could fix a factual error in one of my submissions. I know that the challenge is over, but with my submission available for public viewing for -potentially- forever, I was wondering if it would be possible for a moderator to correct it for me.
This is the link to my submission: http://serviceimpactawards.challenge.gov/challenges/148/submissions/2745-hocking-college-youth-tutoring-program
The factual error is in the first paragraph (I wrote that "less than 50% of residents age 25 and over in this region of Ohio have a high school diploma," however, that is incorrect)--I would like to take that part out, by having the first paragraph read like this (minus the quotation marks):
"Ben Hastil, an AmeriCorps*VISTA member with Ohio Campus Compact, was placed at Hocking College in Athens County this past July. Athens County is part of Appalachian Ohio and is a historically poverty-stricken county that currently faces an unemployment rate of over 30%. For the county's youth, higher education is a crucial pathway out of poverty, yet, only 7% of residents age 25 and over in this region of Ohio have an associate's degree and only 15% have a bachelor's degree."
This edit would not add any new information to my submission--it would only take out the factual error, while still allowing the paragraph to be readable.
