Tara Lydy planted the seeds and with her energy, enthusiasm, and hard work, grown a very successful Service and Civic Engagement Program at Wilmington College.  Whether sleeping outside in a box during Cardboard Village or staying up all night in Collegiate Relay for Life, Tara talks the talk and walks the walk.  She is the true essence of what a volunteer should be and definitely makes a huge impact on the lives of our students and staff.  Each year is filled with opportunities to serve by going on alternative spring break trips, volunteer at the homeless shelter, organizing the annual Quake and much more.  Her dedication to service and civic engagement is evident in the thousands of hours performed by our campus each year.
