Alicia Gallo is an exceptional community servant.  She came to Richmond Main Street last summer as a LISC Americorps member. Richmond Main Street is a community-based nonprofit corporation dedicated to revitalizing historic downtown Richmond as a pedestrian-friendly urban village, offering products, services, arts and entertainment that reflect the community’s rich and diverse heritage. 

As our summer Americorps member, Alicia organized our volunteers for events and programs and helped to create and implement our Neighborhood Ambassador program. She is committed to volunteering her time to make a difference in the community. Alicia is a conscientious worker always seeking solutions to make systems work better. Her attention to detail is unmatched. She is a highly ethical person with the utmost integrity.

Following her summer Americorps service she was hired at Richmond Main Street as the Outreach and Volunteer Coordinator. We would not have been able to accomplish our goals this past summer without her. She is a welcome addition to our staff, helping us reach higher heights to make significant impact downtown Richmond.
