"There is a joy in every possibility" is a quote that rings true to David and his fourth grade students. David moved from California to Texas not just to teach, but rather transform children's lives through education and service. David saw opportunity and possibility in an unused part of land behind his school. David and his fourth grade students transformed the piece of land into a Secret Garden for the school community. Now, without even leaving school, students have a beautiful place to think, talk, laugh, and read. The project itself was a joyful one for students to engage in, and it is a project with an outcome that has created joy for others.
