The Foster Grandparent Program of the Commission on Economic Opportunity for the Greater Capital Region has not only enriched the experience of the program recipients but has shown proven results in demonstrating academic readiness for the children. In addition the Foster Grandparents have had a robust training program in areas of Education, Economic Security, and Healthy Living information.
